Rain is falling in our area early on this Friday morning and temperatures range from near 70 in Clifton down to the mid 60s further inland, winds are mainly calm.

A weak disturbance along a front to our south will cause showers and a chance of a thunderstorm. With an onshore flow and considerable cloudiness, temperatures will be below normal with most highs only in the upper 70s.

After a chance of an early morning shower on Saturday we should see some breaks in the clouds and it will become seasonably warm.

Sunday looks to be the best day of the weekend with mostly sunny skies and temperatures slightly above normal.

Quite warm to hot weather much of next week as a high pressure ridge offshore give us a southwest flow. Monday should be dry but there will be a chance of mainly afternoon and evening showers Tuesday through the end of next week.

THURSDAY – AUG 13 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms, high near 90.
