Sunny, breezy and quite mild today! Rain Friday into early Saturday morning! Dry and chilly the rest of the weekend!

Skies are partly cloudy early on this Thursday morning and temperatures range from near 50 in Clifton down to the upper 30s further inland, winds are mainly calm.

High pressure moving off the coast will give our area a brisk southwest flow of quite mild air with high temperatures reaching into the mid to upper 70s. Skies will be mostly sunny.

A cold front with low pressure along it will slowly move to our east on Friday. Showers are possible early Friday morning but most of the moderate to heavy rain will occur Friday night into early Saturday morning. Rainfall amounts will average 1 – 1.50″

Clearing by Saturday afternoon but it will be breezy and chilly with highs barely reaching the 60 degree mark.

Cool and dry on Sunday with less wind.

Mainly dry the first half of next week with a slow warming trend.

TONIGHT – Increasing cloudiness with a chance of showers mainly after 3 a.m., low in the mid 50s.

FRIDAY – OCT 16 – Rain, high near 60.

SATURDAY – OCT 17 – Rain ending by sunrise then becoming sunny and breezy, high near 60.

SUNDAY – OCT 18 – Mostly sunny, high in the low 60s.

MONDAY – OCT 19 – Mostly sunny, high in the upper 60s.

TUESDAY – OCT 20 – Mostly sunny, high in the upper 60s.

WEDNESDAY – OCT 21 – Partly sunny, high in the low 70s.

MARINE FORECAST: A small craft advisory has been posted effective between 11 a.m. this morning until 2 a.m. Friday morning for southerly winds gusting to 30 knots, seas 3-5 feet.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected Friday morning; advisories likely Friday afternoon through the day on Saturday; no advisories expected Saturday night through Monday.
