Becoming mostly sunny, windy and chilly today! Still cool with less wind on Tuesday! Dry weather to continue Wednesday through the weekend and becoming unseasonably mild!

Skies are partly cloudy early on this Monday morning and temperatures range from the upper 30s in Clifton down to near 30 further inland, winds are a little gusty out of the west.

Today will be a chilly and windy day as a strong low pressure over the Canadian Maritimes gives us a strong westerly flow of cold air. Temperatures will only rise into the 40s and with winds possibly gusting to 45 mph will make it feel quite cold. A wind advisory is in effect.

A weak cold front is expected to come through mainly dry Tuesday morning but there is a chance of flurries over inland area of northwest New Jersey. It will remain cool but with diminishing winds by Tuesday afternoon.

A very nice stretch of fall weather is expected Wednesday through at least next weekend with no precipitation expected, temperatures will be in the 50s on Wednesday and into the 60s and possibly near Friday through the weekend.

TODAY – NOV 2 – Mostly cloudy in the morning then becoming sunny, highs in the mid 40s, winds gusts to 45 mph possible.

TONIGHT – Partly cloudy, low in the mid 30s.

ELECTION DAY – NOV 3 – Partly sunny and breezy, high near 50.

WEDNESDAY – NOV 4 – Sunny, high in the upper 50s.

THURSDAY – NOV 5 – Mostly sunny, high in the mid 60s.

FRIDAY – NOV 6 – Mostly sunny, high in the upper 60s.

SATURDAY – NOV 7 – Sunny, high near 70.

SUNDAY – NOV 8 – Mostly sunny, high near 70.

MARINE FORECAST: A gale warning is in effect valid until 6 a.m. Tuesday morning for west winds gusting to 45 knots, seas 4-7 feet.

OUTLOOK – Small craft advisories expected during the day on Tuesday; no advisories expected Tuesday night through Friday.
