High pressure to our south will give us a southwest flow of mild air today, temperatures should be a couple of degrees milder than yesterday.

High pressure will dominate our weather Friday through at least next Tuesday with dry conditions continuing along with unseasonably mild air, temperatures each day will rise to near 70.

The next chance of rain will be next Wednesday as some possible tropical moisture moves into our area, temperatures will continue to be well above noraml.

A weak warm front will move to our north today and we will have a southwest flow of milder air today after a cool morning. High temperatures will rise into the low 60s along with plenty of sunshine.

High pressure will dominate our weather Thursday through at least early next week which will give us unseasonably mild air along with sunny skies each day. High temperatures will be well up into the 60s to near 70.

Today will not be as cold and windy as yesterday but still it will be a little breezy and temperatures below normal with most highs in the low 50s. A weak front to our north will give inland areas a slight chance of a sprinkle or flurry.

A nice stretch of dry weather with above normal temperatures Wednesday through at least the beginning of next as high pressure will dominate. High temperatures will be near 60 on Wednesday and well up in the 60s to near 70 Thursday through early next week.

The month’s average temperature was 56.4 degrees which was 1.7 degrees above normal. The highest temperatures was 77 degrees on the 15th and the lowest was 29 degrees on the 31st. Precipitation was above normal with 6.09″ accumulating. We had a trace of snow on the 30th.

Today will be a chilly and windy day as a strong low pressure over the Canadian Maritimes gives us a strong westerly flow of cold air. Temperatures will only rise into the 40s and with winds possibly gusting to 45 mph will make it feel quite cold. A wind advisory is in effect.

A weak cold front is expected to come through mainly dry Tuesday morning but there is a chance of flurries over inland area of northwest New Jersey. It will remain cool but with diminishing winds by Tuesday afternoon.

A very nice stretch of fall weather is expected Wednesday through at least next weekend with no precipitation expected, temperatures will be in the 50s on Wednesday and into the 60s and possibly near Friday through the weekend.

Today will be a milder day as a southerly flow ahead of a strong cold front develops. Showers will develop this afternoon and may be moderate to heavy at times. The cold front will cross the area this evening with winds switching to the northwest and become gusty. Temperatures will fall after the frontal passage.

Monday will be a chilly and windy day with possible snow flurries in the morning. Winds may gust up to 45 mph and with highs only in the 40s it will make it feel rather cold.

Tuesday will be dry but cool and still a little breezy.

Dry weather is expected Wednesday through next weekend with a warming trend. Highs will be in the 50s on Wednesday and then the 60s Thursday through the weekend.
