Mostly sunny today and slightly milder today with less wind! Unusually quiet weather for January to continue this week!

Good morning!

Skies are mostly clear early on this Sunday morning and temperatures range from the upper 20s in Clifton down to near 20 further inland, winds are light from the northwest.

CLIFTON’S ALMANAC FOR JANUARY 10TH:

AVERAGE HIGH: 36 AVERAGE LOW: 22

RECORD HIGH: 61 – 2016 RECORD LOW: -1 – 2004

YESTERDAY’S HIGH: 35 LOW: 21 PRECIPITATION: NONE

Today will be a mostly sunny day and it should be a couple of degrees higher than yesterday. We should also have less wind as the storm that was well out in the Atlantic moves further east and high pressure builds closer to us from the west.

Very quiet weather for January will continue much if not all of this week with dry conditions and temperatures at or slightly above normal. The storm that we have been tracking for Tuesday will stay well enough to our east to affect our weather.

The next chance of precipitation may be on Friday as a frontal system approaches our area but at this time there is only a slight chance of any rain or snow.
