A weak disturbance will cause increasing clouds during the day today, temperatures will be a couple of degrees lower than yesterday with continued light winds.

High pressure will build into the area on Tuesday and we should stay dry with temperatures slowly rising and by Friday it may approach the 50 degree mark.

A frontal system will give our area a chance of snow or rain showers Friday night followed by dry conditions for the weekend with near seasonably temperatures.

Today will be a mostly sunny day and it should be a couple of degrees higher than yesterday. We should also have less wind as the storm that was well out in the Atlantic moves further east and high pressure builds closer to us from the west.

Very quiet weather for January will continue much if not all of this week with dry conditions and temperatures at or slightly above normal. The storm that we have been tracking for Tuesday will stay well enough to our east to affect our weather.

The next chance of precipitation may be on Friday as a frontal system approaches our area but at this time there is only a slight chance of any rain or snow.

Low pressure well east of our coast along with high pressure to our west will cause a brisk northerly flow of seasonably cold air today. High temperatures will be near 40 but the wind will make it feel colder.

Dry weather looks to continue much if not all of next week. The storm on Tuesday should stay well enough out to sea to give us any precipitation. A frontal system on Friday may give us some precipitation but at this time it is only a slight chance. Temperatures will be at or slightly above normal through the period.

Daytime highs will average in the low 40s and overnight lows will be mainly in the mid 20s. Computer models now have that system for Tuesday to be well off the coast and should not give us any precipitation. A stronger system may give us some precipitation on Friday.

Nearly the same weather will persist Friday through early next week as systems are being blocked from moving west to east. Expect dry conditions with temperatures near normal. The storm on Saturday will stay well offshore to affect our weather and then another system may come closer to the coast on Tuesday but at this time there is only a slight chance of any rain or snow.
