A cold front crossed the area overnight and a brisk northwest flow of cooler and drier air is moving into the area. Today will be mostly sunny with brisk winds this morning gradually diminishing by late this afternoon. Temperatures will not rise much from this morning with highs in the 40s.

Sunny and seasonably cold on Friday but with much less wind than today.

A weak frontal system moving into the area on Saturday will likely give us some mainly light rain, that may begin as snow, with a dusting of snow possible, mainly over inland areas.

Another weak low pressure area will give us a chance of rain on Sunday.

Mainly dry weather Monday through Wednesday. Temperatures will be above normal on Monday, below normal on Tuesday and near normal on Wednesday.

MONDAY – MAR 1 – Mostly cloudy, high near 50.

TUESDAY – MAR 2 – Sunny, breezy and cooler, high near 40.

WEDNESDAY – MAR 3 – Partly sunny, high in the upper 40s.

MARINE FORECAST: A small craft advisory is in effect until 1 p.m. this afternoon for northwest winds gusting to 30 knots, seas 3-5 feet.
