Clearing and cool today! Mainly dry weather expected this week through the weekend with a gradual warming trend!

Skies are cloudy early on this Monday morning and the rain has ended and moved to our east. Temperatures at 5 a.m. range from 45 in Clifton down to 40 at High Point, winds are light from the north.

The low pressure that caused the rain yesterday and during the night is moving offshore and we should see some clearing by later this morning, temperatures will be slightly below normal.

High pressure will be in control of our weather Tuesday and Wednesday with mostly sunny days but it will be a little breezy especially on Tuesday, temperatures will continue to be slightly below normal.

Mainly dry weather to continue Thursday through the weekend with a gradual warming trend with highs near 70 Thursday and Friday and into the 70s over the weekend.

TODAY – MAY 10 – Becoming partly sunny, high in the mid 60s.

TONIGHT – Partly cloudy, low in the mid 40s.

TUESDAY – MAY 11 – Partly sunny and breezy, high in the mid 60s.

WEDNESDAY – MAY 12 – Sunny, high in the mid 60s.

THURSDAY – MAY 13 – Sunny, high near 70.

FRIDAY – MAY 14 – Partly sunny, high near 70.

SATURDAY – MAY 15 – Partly sunny, high in the low 70s.

SUNDAY – MAY 16 – Partly sunny, high in the low 70s.

MARINE FORECAST: A small craft advisory is in effect until 6 p.m. this evening for northwest winds gusting to 15 knots, seas 5-8 feet.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected tonight through the day on Tuesday; advisories likely Tuesday night through Wednesday morning; no advisories expected Wednesday afternoon through Friday.
