Skies are cloudy early on this Monday morning and there are some showers in parts of the area. Temperatures at 5 a.m. range from 65 in Clifton down to 58 at High Point, winds are mainly calm or light southerly.

A frontal system in our area will give us mainly cloudy weather today with showers and possibly some strong thunderstorms, temperatures with the clouds will be below normal.

Slightly milder on Tuesday as the front moves offshore and we should see some more sunshine and slightly warmer temperatures, however there still will be a chance of showers.

Delightful weather Wednesday through Friday with warm temperatures and low humidity.

At this point the upcoming weekend look to be warm with a chance of showers mainly Saturday afternoon and at night as a weak cold front crosses the area.

THURSDAY – JUNE 17 – Sunny, high in the upper 70s.

SATURDAY – JUNE 19 – Partly sunny with a chance of afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms, high in the mid 80s.

SUNDAY – JUNE 20 – Mostly sunny, high in the low 80s.
