Mostly sunny and a little warmer today but still with comfortable humidity! Quite warm and more humid weather for the weekend with a chance of showers on Saturday! Heavy showers possible early next week!

Skies are mostly clear early on this Friday morning and there is a wide range in temperatures with readings ranging from 60 in Clifton down to 40 degrees at Walpack, winds are calm or light southwesterly!

High pressure moving offshore will give us a mostly sunny day today with temperatures a little higher than yesterday. Humidity will continue to be low with dew points mainly in the low 50s.

Warmer and more humid weather for the weekend. A weak cold front will give us a chance of showers on Saturday but Father’s Day should stay dry.

Quite warm and humid early next week with a chance of showers; some of the showers possibly heavy as some moisture from soon to be Tropical Storm Claudette approaches our area from the Gulf of Mexico.

Fair weather returns for Wednesday and Thursday and it should be cooler and less humid.

MONDAY – JUNE 21 – Partly sunny with a chance of shower and thunderstorms after 2 p.m., high in the low 90s.

TUESDAY – JUNE 22 – Mostly cloudy with showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm, high in the low 80s.

WEDNESDAY – JUNE 23 – Mostly sunny and less humid, high in the upper 70s.

THURSDAY – JUNE 24 – Sunny, high near 80.

MARINE FORECAST: A small craft advisory has been posted effective between 4 p.m. this afternoon through 10 a.m. Saturday morning for southwest winds gusting to 25 knots, seas 3-6 feet.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected Saturday afternoon through Sunday night; advisories likely Monday and Tuesday.
