A cold front is sagging to our south this morning and we should have a mostly sunny day today with high temperatures in the 80s, along with much lower humidity. It will be a nice change after our five day early June heat wave.

A weak frontal system may cause some afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms on Sunday, highs will be around 80.

Today will be the last day of our current heatwave as the Bermuda high pressure will move further off the coast and a cold front approaches from the north. We should have partly sunny skies this morning then a good chance of showers and thunderstorms this afternoon and evening. The storms should not be as widespread as yesterday, but there still may be an isolated strong storm with gusty winds and heavy rain. High temperatures will be near 90 and with dew points near 70 will make it another uncomfortable day.

The cold front should move through our area late tonight and Thursday should be a cooler day with much less humidity. Hopefully we clear out tomorrow morning so we can see the partial eclipse of the sun around dawn.

Friday will be dry with slightly cooler than normal temperatures.

After having weekend that were either in the 90s or 40s the past 3 weeks this weekend looks to be pleasantly warm with highs near 80 both days along with plenty of sunshine.

A chance of showers on Monday will be followed by dry weather on Tuesday, temperatures will continue to be seasonably warm.

The Bermuda high pressure that is responsible for the early June heat wave will be weakening but a southwest flow of very warm and humid air will be with us again today with showers and thunderstorms developing this afternoon and continuing into this evening. Some of the rain will be heavy at times with rainfall amounts of up to an inch with locally higher amounts possible.

Still quite warm and humid on Wednesday with a good chance of showers and thunderstorms as a cold front sags to our south late Wednesday night.

Thursday will be cooler and less humid but still with a chance of some showers.

Cool weather with comfortable humidity will continue Friday into the weekend but still a chance of some afternoon showers on Friday.
