Skies are mainly clear early on this Tuesday morning and temperatures at 5 a.m. range from 70 in Clifton down to 59 at Walpack. Winds are mainly calm and the humidity is low with dew points mainly in the low 60s.

Another hot day today but it should be our last day of 90 degree or higher temperature for the next several days. High pressure will dominate giving us plenty of sunshine although late in the day may be hazy as smoke from the western fires return to our area. There is a low chance of a evening thunderstorm as a weak cold front moves through the area.

Wednesday will be cooler with only a slight chance of a shower.

A better chance of showers and thunderstorms on Thursday and temperatures will be below normal with highs mainly only rising to 80 degrees.

Friday and Saturday should be dry with continued cooler than average temperatures along with low humidity.

Another cold front may cause a shower on Sunday followed by dry weather on Monday, temperatures will be near normal.
