Another fantastic late summer day today with plenty of sunshine, seasonably mild temperatures and low humidity! Mostly sunny on Sunday and become warmer and more humid! Warmer than normal temperatures should continue most of next week!

Skies are mostly clear early on this Saturday morning and temperatures are cool with readings at 5 a.m. ranging from 57 in Clifton down to 47 at Pequest, winds are mainly calm.

Another very nice late summer weather day again today with near seasonable temperatures and low humidity along with plenty of sunshine. The temperature and humidity will be similar to yesterday but with less wind today.

As high pressure moves off the coast we will have a return flow of warmer and more humid air on Sunday.

Most if not all of next week will be warmer than normal and mainly dry with only a low chance of showers Monday night and again Wednesday night through the day on Friday, as a couple of weak fronts move through our area.

TODAY – SEP 11 – Sunny, high in the upper 70s.

TONIGHT – Clear, low in the low 60s.

SUNDAY – SEP 12 – Mostly sunny, warmer and more humid, high in the upper 80s.

MONDAY – SEP 13 – Partly sunny, high in the upper 80s, chance of showers at night.

TUESDAY – SEP 14 – Partly sunny, high in the low 80s.

WEDNESDAY – SEP 15 – Partly sunny, quite warm and humid, high near 90. Chance of showers at night.

THURSDAY – SEP 16 – Partly sunny with a chance of showers, high in the mid 80s.

FRIDAY – SEP 17 – Partly sunny with a chance of showers, high in the low 80s.

MARINE FORECAST: A small craft advisory is in effect for rough seas until 2 p.m. this afternoon. Winds westerly to 15 knots, seas 4-6 feet. Point Pleasant Beach’s ocean temperature is 73 degrees. A continued high chance of dangerous rip currents today.

OUTLOOK – A small craft advisory may still be needed on Sunday for high seas; no advisories expected Monday through Wednesday.
