Partly sunny, quite warm and humid today with showers and thunderstorms likely tonight! Mostly cloudy and cooler with some showers possible Thursday into Friday! Pleasantly warm and dry weather for the weekend!

Skies are partly cloudy early on this Wednesday morning and temperatures are mild with readings at 5 a.m. ranging from 68 in Clifton down to 62 at Basking Ridge. Winds are mainly calm and the humidity is high with some patchy fog mainly over inland areas.

Today will be a partly sunny day and it will be unseasonably warm and humid with highs in the upper 80s with some areas possibly reaching the 90 degree mark. With dew points near 70 it will feel even warmer. A cold front will come through overnight preceded by some showers and thunderstorms.

The front will be in our area Thursday and Friday with a chance of showers both days. Temperatures will be cooler with readings in the upper 70s which is near normal.

Very pleasant weather for the last weekend of summer with mostly sunny skies both days along with warm tempertures. The humidity will not be that high with dew points mainly in the low to mid 60s.

Dry and warm weather is expected to continued through at least early next week.
