Skies are cloudy early on this Tuesday morning and there are some showers across central and southern parts of New Jersey. Temperatures at 5 a.m. range from 58 in Clifton down to 52 at High Point. Winds are light from the north.

The front that caused the rain yesterday is moving further to our south as high pressure tries to build from the north. We should see considerable cloudiness again today with only a low chance of a scattered light shower.

Mainly dry with slightly milder temperatures Wednesday through Friday as the high pressure builds closer to our area.

Unsettled weather for the weekend although the chance of rain is less than what was indicated yesterday. Temperatures will continue to be slightly above normal.
