Another mostly cloudy and mild day today! Warmer tomorrow and on Friday! Cold front to cause showers on Saturday followed by cooler and much less humid air for Sunday into early next week!

Skies are mostly cloudy to cloudy early on this Wednesday morning and there is some patchy fog over parts of the area. Temperatures at 5 a.m. range from 60 in Clifton down to 56 at High Point. Winds are calm or light westerly.

Today will again start off cloudy but we may see some breaks by this afternoon as high pressure will be over our area. Temperatures again will rise to the low to mid 70s which is nearly 10 degrees above normal.

Dry and warmer Thursday and Friday with highs both days approaching 80 degrees.

A cold front will cause showers on Saturday. Temperatures prior to the front will rise again to near 80.

Cooler and much drier air on Sunday and should extend into early next week. Although it will be cooler temperatures will actually still be a bit above normal.

TODAY – OCT 13 – Mostly cloudy, high in the mid 70s.

TONIGHT – Partly cloudy, low near 60.

THURSDAY – OCT 14 – Mostly sunny, high near 80.

FRIDAY – OCT 15 – Partly sunny, high near 80.

SATURDAY – OCT 16 – Mostly cloudy with showers mainly after 2 p.m. high near 80.

SUNDAY – OCT 17 – Sunny, cooler and much less humid, high in the mid 60s.

MONDAY – OCT 18 – Sunny, high in the mid 60s.

TUESDAY – OCT 19 – Sunny, high near 70.

MARINE FORECAST: TODAY – Variable winds less than 5 knots, seas 3 feet.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected Thursday and Friday; advisories possible Saturday and Sunday.
