Skies are mostly cloudy early on this Monday morning and temperatures at 5 a.m. range from 35 in Clifton down to 30 at Hillsborough. Winds are mainly calm.

NOTEOn this day in 2018 we received over 6 inches of snow most of it during the evening commute which caused massive traffic delays.

A weak trough of low pressure will move offshore today and will intensify. Skies will remain mostly cloudy with a slight chance of a morning shower. Winds will increase and gust to 30-35 mph making today feel quite chilly.

High pressure will build in on Tuesday, it still will be chilly but with less wind and more sunshine.

Milder Wednesday and Thursday as the high pressure slowly moves offshore. A rather strong cold front will likely cause showers Thursday night into early Friday morning.

Much cooler again Friday through the weekend but most of the area will be dry.

TONIGHT – Mostly clear, low in the mid 30s.

TUESDAY – NOV 16 – Sunny, high near 50.

WEDNESDAY – NOV 17 – Mostly sunny and milder, high in the upper 50s.

THURSDAY – NOV 18 – Mostly sunny and mild, high in the upper 60s, showers likely after 7 p.m.

FRIDAY – NOV 19 – Chance of a shower before 7 a.m. then becoming mostly sunny and much cooler, high near 50.

SATURDAY – NOV 20 – Sunny, high in the upper 40s.

SUNDAY – NOV 21 – Partly sunny, high in the low 50s.

MARINE FORECAST: A gale warning has been posted effective between 10 a.m. this morning until 4 a.m. Tuesday morning for westerly winds gusting to 35 knots, seas 3-6 feet.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected Tuesday and during the day on Wednesday; possible advisories Wednesday night; advisories likely Thursday; possible gales on Friday.
