Good morning everyone!

Skies are mostly clear early on this Friday morning and temperatures at 5 a.m. range from 41 in Clifton down to 37 at Vernon and High Point. Winds are brisk out of the west.

Today will be a mostly sunny day and it will be breezy and cooler with high temperatures near normal mainly in the upper 40s. Winds will diminish by late in the day.

High pressure will be in control of our weather this weekend and we will be dry with temperatures again near seasonable levels.

Monday will be unseasonably mild with highs in the 60s and showers will be likely as the warm front moves to our north early Monday morning followed by a cold front Monday evening.

High pressure on Tuesday will give us dry and cool conditions.

Another frontal system will likely give us rain Wednesday into early Thursday, some of the precipitation may be mixed with snow especially on Wednesday morning.

TONIGHT – Increasing clouds, low in the low 30s.

SATURDAY – DEC 4 – Partly sunny, high near 50.

SUNDAY – DEC 5 – Mostly sunny, high near 50.

MONDAY – DEC 6 – Mostly cloudy with showers likely mainly after 4 p.m., unseasonably mild with highs in the upper 60s.

TUESDAY – DEC 7 – Mostly sunny and cooler, high in the low 40s.

WEDNESDAY – DEC 8 – Mostly cloudy with rain and or snow likely, high in the mid 40s.

THURSDAY – DEC 9 – Partly sunny, high in the upper 40s.

MARINE FORECAST: A small craft advisory is in effect until 6 p.m. this evening for west-northwest winds gusting to 25 knots, seas 4-6 feet diminishing this afternoon.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected tonight through the day on Sunday; advisories likely Sunday night through Monday night with some gale gusts possible; advisories possibly to continue for high seas on Tuesday.
