CLIFTON’S ALMANAC FOR DECEMBER 5TH:

AVERAGE HIGH: 47 AVERAGE LOW: 30

RECORD HIGH: 68 – 2001 RECORD LOW: 16 – 1989  12.0″ of snow in 2003.

YESTERDAY’S HIGH: 52 LOW 31 PRECIPITATION: NONE

High pressure will be moving off the coast and we should see a mix of clouds and sun today along with light winds and cool temperates.

Showers are likely on Monday as a warm front will move to our north in the morning and then a cold front will push through in the evening. Skies will be mostly cloudy and temperatures will rise into the 60s. Winds will be gusty out of southwest switching to northwest after the front passes our area. Rainfall amounts will be light mainly less than 1/4″.

High pressure will then move into our area on Tuesday giving us mostly sunny skies but it will be chilly with highs mainly only in the low 40s.

A weak storm system will affect our area on Wednesday which will likely give us some light snow in the morning mixing with and changing to rain in the afternoon. Accumulations look to be minor with only a coating of snow in the Clifton area but a couple of inches are possible to our north and west.

Dry weather along with cool temperatures Thursday and Friday.

A frontal system may give us some precipitation on Saturday but it should fall as rain as high temperatures rise into the 50s.
