Sunny today with record high temperatures again possible! Rain on Saturday mixed with sleet and snow at times to our north and west! Dry with seasonably cold temperatures Sunday through much of next week!

Skies are partly cloudy early on this Friday morning and temperatures again are unseasonably mild with readings at 5 a.m. ranging from 57 in Clifton down to 44 at Walpack. Winds are light from the west.

Another day of record warmth is possible today as we will have sunny skies with high temperatures near 60 degrees. A weak cold front will pass through our area this morning with a secondary cold front passing through tonight which will filter in cooler air.

Low pressure will move just to our south on Saturday and precipitation should begin before sunrise and continue through Saturday night. The precipitation will be in the form of rain in the Clifton area but may mix with sleet and slow across higher elevations of northwestern New Jersey. Rainfall amounts will be around 1/2 inch.

Clearing and seasonably cold on Sunday with skies becoming sunny.

Mainly dry weather most of next week with temperatures near seasonable levels.

TONIGHT – Increasing cloudiness with rain likely after midnight, low in the upper 30s.
