Skies are partly cloudy early on this Wednesday morning and temperatures at 5 a.m. range from 24 in Clifton down to 12 at Sandyston. Winds are calm or light southwesterly.

A brisk southwesterly flow will bring milder air into the area today with high temperatures reaching the mid 40s. Skies will be partly sunny.

A cold front will cross the area over night with light rain changing to light snow tomorrow morning, 1-3 inches of snow possible. Clearing Thursday afternoon but it will be breezy and colder.

Cold weather will persist Friday through early next week. The potential storm that we have been tracking now looks to be well south and east of our area with only a low chance of some flurries or light snow Saturday morning.

TONIGHT – Cloudy with a chance of rain mixing with and changing to light snow after midnight, low near 30.

THURSDAY – JAN 20 – Snow in the morning accumulations of 1-3 inches followed by clearing and colder in the afternoon, temperatures falling to the upper 20s by sunset.

FRIDAY – JAN 21 – Mostly sunny and quite cold, high in the low 20s.

SATURDAY – JAN 22 – Partly sunny with a chance of light snow, high in the upper 20s.

SUNDAY – JAN 23 – Partly sunny, high in the mid 30s.

MONDAY – JAN 24 – Mostly sunny, high near 30.

TUESDAY – JAN 25 – Mostly cloudy, high in the low 30s.
