Skies are mostly cloudy and there are some sprinkles falling in parts of the area early on this Tuesday morning and it is quite mild with temperatures at 5 a.m. ranging from 50 degrees in Clifton down to 44 at Pequest. Winds are calm or light southerly.

A weak frontal system will cause mostly cloudy skies this morning with a chance of some light showers then it will become mostly sunny and mild this afternoon with high temperatures reaching the low 70s.

Wednesday will be another mild day but a weak warm front may touch off a light shower Wednesday evening.

Thursday looks unseasonably warm ahead of a cold front that will cross the area in the afternoon or evening, which will likely be accompanied by showers and thunderstorms. High temperatures will reach or exceed the 80 degree mark.

Friday looks to be a nice day with mostly sunny skies and although it will be cooler than Thursday temperatures will still be above normal.

Mild again on Saturday but a cold front may cause some showers in the afternoon and evening!

Cooler weather on Easter Sunday despite mostly sunny skies, highs will only be in the 50s.

Still cool on Monday with a chance of rain.
