Fantastic weather for this weekend with plenty of sunshine both days, seasonably warm temperatures and low humidity! Nice early June weather again on Monday! Chance of showers Tuesday through Thursday!

Skies are clear early on this Saturday morning and temperatures at 5 a.m. range from 59 in Clifton down to 45 at Sandyston. Winds are mainly calm.

High pressure today will dominate our weather this weekend with sunny skies both days with rather low humidity with dew points in the 40s. Highs today will be in the low 80s but be slightly cooler on Sunday with highs in the upper 70s.

High pressure will continue to dominate our weather on Monday with continued sunny skies, seasonably warm temperatures and low humidity.

The weather will be more unsettled Tuesday through Thursday as a weak frontal system moves into our area which will cause a chance of showers during this period, temperatures will average at or slightly above normal.

Clearing and continued seasonably warm on Friday.

WEDNESDAY – JUN 8 – Partly sunny with a chance of showers mainly after 2 p.m., high in the low 80s.

THURSDAY – JUN 9 – Partly sunny with a chance of showers, high in the upper 70s.

FRIDAY – JUN 10 – Mostly sunny, high near 80.

MARINE FORECAST: TODAY – Variable winds less than 5 knots, seas around 1 foot. Point Pleasant Beach’s ocean temperature is 65 degrees.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected Sunday and Monday; possible small craft advisories for higher seas Tuesday and Wednesday as Potential Cyclone One moves offshore well to our south and east.
