Skies are mostly clear early on this Tuesday morning and temperatures at 5 a.m. range from 59 in Clifton down to 45 at both Pequest and Walpack. Winds are light from the south.

Today will start off sunny but we should see some increase in clouds this afternoon with a chance of a shower late this afternoon, it will become more humid with dew points that are in the 40s this morning will rise to the 60s by tonight. A frontal system will be approaching our area from the west.

Wednesday will be a mostly cloudy, warm and humid day with showers and thunderstorms likely mainly in the morning and again at night.

A wave of low pressure will give us rain mainly Thursday morning, some of the rain may be heavy at times.

High pressure will then briefly give us a dry Friday with near normal temperatures.

Another system will give us rain on Saturday. Sunday looks to be the better day of the weekend but there still will be a chance of a shower.

TONIGHT – Cloudy, breezy and more humid with showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm, low in the upper 60s.

WEDNESDAY – JUN 8 – Mostly cloudy and humid with showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm, high in the low 80s.

THURSDAY – JUN 9 – Showers mainly in the morning then partial clearing late in the day, high near 80.

FRIDAY – JUN 10 – Mostly sunny, high near 80.

SATURDAY – JUN 11 – Rain, high in the mid 70s.

SUNDAY – JUN 12 – Partly sunny with still a chance of a shower, high near 80.

MONDAY – JUN 13 – Mostly sunny, high near 80.

MARINE FORECAST: A small craft advisory has been posted effective between 4 p.m. this afternoon until 8 a.m. Wednesday morning for southerly winds gusting to 25 knots, seas 3-5 feet.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected Wednesday afternoon; advisories possible Wednesday night through Thursday night; no advisories expected on Friday; advisories again possible for Saturday.
