Rain is falling over most areas early on this Thursday morning and temperatures at 5 a.m. range from 68 in Clifton down to 58 at High Point and Wantage. Winds are light and variable.

A frontal system moving through the area will cause rain mainly before 7 a.m. followed by clearing by later this morning; it will become breezy with some gusts to 25-30 mph this afternoon. The humidity will lower with dew points in the 50s.

Friday looks to be another nice June day as high pressure builds into the area causing plenty of sunshine, seasonably warm temperatures along with low humidity.

Low pressure will move into the area on Saturday but it now looks like most of the heavier rain will stay to our south however there still a 60% chance of showers.

Sunday will be mainly dry but still a chance of a shower or two mainly in the afternoon and evening, the probably of showers is 40%

Mainly dry weather with seasonably warm temperatures Monday through the middle of the week.

MONDAY – JUN 13 – Chance of a morning shower then becoming partly sunny, high in the low 80s.

TUESDAY – JUN 14 – Mostly sunny, high in the low 80s.

WEDNESDAY – JUN 15 – Partly sunny, high in the low 80s.

MARINE FORECAST: A small craft advisory is in effect until 5 p.m. this afternoon for southwest winds gusting to 30 knots, seas 3-6 feet.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected Friday through Monday.
