Sunny and pleasantly warm today with low humidity! A chance of showers on Thursday and a little cooler. Hot and becoming windy on Friday with a chance of showers and thunderstorms! Dry but cooler and windy weather for the weekend!

Skies are mostly clear early on this Wednesday morning and temperatures at 5 a.m. range from 63 in Clifton down to 51 at Walpack and Sandyston. Winds are mainly calm.

High pressure to our north will give us a nice day today with plenty of sunshine, seasonably warm temperatures and low humidity with dew points in the 50s. We should see some increase in clouds by tonight as a warm front approaches from the south and west.

Tomorrow will be a mostly cloudy day with a chance of showers as the warm front moves through our area.

Friday will be hot as the warm front moves to our north, however a cold front will swing through the area in the afternoon with a chance of showers and thunderstorms. After the cold front moves to our east winds will pick up with gusts to 35 mph along with falling humidity.

This weekend looks ideal for outdoor activities with plenty of sunshine, seasonably cool temperatures along with very low humidity. Winds will continue to be gusty.

After a dry Monday there will be a chance of showers on Tuesday as a weak cold front approaches our area.

TUESDAY – JUN 21 – Partly sunny with a chance of showers, high in the low 80s.

OUTLOOK – A small craft advisory has be issued effective between 4 p.m. Thursday afternoon through 6 a.m. Friday morning; no advisories expected Friday afternoon through Sunday night.
