Sunny, breezy and not as chilly as yesterday! Sunny again on Monday with milder temperatures and less wind! Mostly cloudy Tuesday and Wednesday with a chance of showers!


Good morning everyone!

Skies are mostly clear early on this Sunday morning and temperatures at 5 a.m. range from 53 in Clifton down to a chilly 38 at Walpack. Winds are still gusty out of the northwest making it feel even cooler.

High pressure building from the Great Lakes will give us another sunny and breezy day today, high temperatures will be a few degrees higher than yesterday. The humidity is very low with dew points only in the 30s.

High pressure will continue to dominate our weather on Monday with again slightly milder temperatures and less wind, humidity will remain low with dew points in the 40s.

A weak frontal system will move into our area Tuesday and Wednesday giving us mostly cloudy skies both days with a chance of showers.

Rather unsettled weather Thursday into the beginning of next weekend as a upper level low will be in our area. Somewhat warmer temperatures and humidity can be expected, At the present time Thursday and Friday look to be mainly dry but there may be a chance of showers on Saturday.

TONIGHT – Clear, low in the low 50s.

MONDAY – JUN 20 – Sunny, high near 80.

TUESDAY – JUN 21 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and possibly a thunderstorm, high in the mid 70s.

WEDNESDAY – JUN 22 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers, high in the upper 70s.

THURSDAY – JUN 23 – Mostly cloudy, high near 80.

FRIDAY – JUN 24 – Partly sunny, high in the mid 80s.

SATURDAY – JUN 25 – Partly sunny with a chance of showers, high in the mid 80s.

MARINE FORECAST: A small craft advisory is in effect until 6 p.m. this evening for northwest winds gusting to 30 knots, seas 3-5 feet.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected Monday through Thursday.
