Another sunny and hot day today! Showers and possibly some thunderstorms on Monday! Dry and pleasant Tuesday and Wednesday! Warmer Thursday and Friday! Chance of showers on Saturday!

Skies are clear early on this Sunday morning and temperatures at 5 a.m. range from 68 in Clifton down to 57 at Walpack and Sandyston. Winds are mainly calm or light southwesterly.

High pressure moving off the coast will give us a southwesterly flow of hot air again today along with sunny skies. Humidity may be a little higher than yesterday with dew points in the low-mid 60s.

A cold front moving through the area on Monday will cause showers and possibly some thunderstorms. With the clouds and precipitation high temperatures will be lower than today with readings in the low 80s.

High pressure will then move into the area on Tuesday and Wednesday causing sunny skies both day with pleasant temperatures and humidity.

Dry weather should persist Thursday and Friday with a warming trend.

Another cold front may cause some showers on Saturday.

MONDAY – JUN 27 – Cloudy with showers and possibly some thunderstorms, high in the low 80s.

TUESDAY – JUN 28 – Sunny and less humid, high near 80.

WEDNESDAY – JUN 29 – Sunny, high in the low 80s.

THURSDAY – JUN 30 – Sunny, high near 90.

FRIDAY – JUL 1 – Sunny, high in the low 90s, chance of showers at night.

SATURDAY – JUL 2 – Partly sunny with a chance of showers and thunderstorms, high near 90.

MARINE FORECAST: TODAY – Southerly winds to 15 knots, seas 2 feet. Point Pleasant Beach’s ocean temperature is 68 degrees.

OUTLOOK – A small craft advisory is posted effective between 6 p.m. this evening through 4 p.m. Monday afternoon; no advisories expected Tuesday through Thursday.
