Sunny and very hot today but with moderate humidity! Very hot and more humid on Sunday with record highs likely! Cold front will cause showers and thunderstorms on Monday with strong gusty winds and heavy rain possible!

Skies are mostly clear early on this Saturday morning and once again it is quite warm with temperatures at 5 a.m. ranging from 75 in Clifton down to 63 at Pequest and Sandyston. Winds are mainly calm or light westerly.

A Bermuda high pressure ridge will give us another very hot day today with highs well up into the 90s however dew points will fall to the low 60s this afternoon, skies will be mostly sunny.

The very hot weather will continue on Sunday and temperatures may reach record levels as highs approach the 100 degree mark, humidity will rise with mostly dew points near 70 degrees. Skies will be mostly sunny. A heat advisory remains in effect until Sunday night.

A cold front will approach our area on Monday and move offshore Monday night. Showers and thunderstorms are likely mainly in the afternoon and evening, some storms may become severe with strong gusty winds and very heavy rain. High temperatures will be slightly lower but the humidity will remain high.

Mainly dry weather with more seasonable temperatures and lower humidity Tuesday and Wednesday as weak high pressure moves into the area.

Another frontal system will give us a chance of showers Thursday into Friday.

WEDNESDAY – JUL 27 – Mostly sunny, high near 90.

THURSDAY – JUL 28 – Partly sunny with a chance of showers and thunderstorms, humid, high in the low 90s.

FRIDAY – JUL 29 – Partly sunny with a chance of an afternoon shower, high near 90.
