Skies are cloudy early on this Monday morning and there are some showers falling in parts of the area. Temperatures are mild with early morning readings ranging from 53 in Clifton down to 48 at Vernon. Winds are light from the north-northeast.

A weak coastal low with a warm front to our east will cause cloudy skies today with some showers likely along with some drizzle, temperatures will be similar to yesterday with highs in the low 60s.

Continued mostly cloudy Tuesday and Wednesday, as we will have a southeast flow of rather humid and mild air in our area. There still will be a chance of showers both days. A cold front will cross the area Wednesday night.

Mainly dry weather Thursday through the weekend although there will be a low chance of showers on Sunday. Temperatures will be above normal on Thursday but fall to near normal levels Friday through the weekend.

TODAY – OCT 24 – Cloudy with showers likely this morning and a chance of showers this afternoon, high in the low 60s.

TONIGHT – Cloudy and humid with a chance of showers in the evening and chance of drizzle after midnight, low in the upper 50s.

TUESDAY – OCT 25 – Cloudy and humid with a chance of showers with areas of drizzle in the morning then a chance of showers in the afternoon, high near 70.

WEDNESDAY – OCT 26 – Mostly cloudy with showers likely mainly in the morning, humid, high near 70.

THURSDAY – OCT 27 – Sunny and less humid, high near 70.

FRIDAY – OCT 28 – Mostly sunny and cooler, high in the low 60s.

SATURDAY – OCT 29 – Partly sunny, high in the low 60s.

SUNDAY – OCT 30 – Partly sunny with a chance of afternoon showers, high in the low 60s.

MARINE FORECAST: A small craft advisory is in effect until 6 p.m. this evening for northeast winds gusting to 30 knots, seas 7-10 feet.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected Tuesday through Thursday; possible small craft advisories on Friday.
