Skies are mainly clear early on this Friday morning and early temperatures range from 31 in Clifton down to 20 at Walpack. Winds are light from the southwest.

High pressure over the Rocky Mountain area will continue to bring cool weather today, skies will be sunny this morning but some cloudiness should develop this afternoon, especially inland, with even some rain or snow showers over the Poconos.

Dry this weekend as high pressure dominates but it will be unseasonably cold. Saturday will be a little breezy, but become windy on Sunday which will make it feel even colder.

Dry weather should persist through Thanksgiving Day with a slow moderation in temperatures.

TODAY – NOV 18 – Sunny this morning, partly sunny this afternoon, high in the low 40s.

TONIGHT – Mostly cloudy in the evening then becoming clear, low in the mid 20s.

SATURDAY – NOV 19 – Sunny and breezy, high in the low 40s.

SUNDAY – NOV 20 – Sunny and windy, high only in the upper 30s.

MONDAY – NOV 21 – Sunny, high in the mid 40s.

TUESDAY – NOV 22 – Sunny, high near 50.

WEDNESDAY – NOV 23 – Sunny, high in the low 50s.

THANKSGIVING DAY – NOV 24 – Mostly sunny, high near 50.

MARINE FORECAST: A small craft advisory is in effect until 1 a.m. Saturday morning for westerly winds gusting to 25 knots, seas 1 foot or less.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected for Saturday; advisories expected on Sunday with some gale gusts possible; no advisories expected for Monday and Tuesday.
