Sunny and mild again today with light winds! Mostly sunny and just slightly cooler on Thanksgiving Day! Rain likely on Friday! Mostly sunny and mild during the day on Saturday! Rain again likely on Sunday!

Good morning everyone!

Skies are mostly clear early on this Wednesday morning and with calm winds there is a large range of temperatures as higher elevations are milder than the valleys, early readings range from 41 at my station in Clifton down to a chilly 19 degrees at Pequest.

CLIFTON’S ALMANAC FOR NOVEMBER 23RD:

RECORD HIGH: 68 – 1992 RECORD LOW: 11 – 2018 ( also coldest November temperature)

High pressure to our south and west will continue to give our area mild temperatures along with plenty of sunshine today.

Nice weather for Thanksgiving Day with sunny skies, high temperatures will be slightly cooler than today. An approaching frontal system will cause an increase in clouds at night.

The frontal system will likely give us rain mainly in the afternoon and evening, rainfall amounts should be under 1/4 of an inch.

High pressure will give us a nice and mild day on Saturday but another stronger frontal system will likely cause rain on Sunday, rainfall amounts will average between 1/2 and 1 inch.

Dry weather with near seasonably temperatures can be expected for Monday and Tuesday.
