CLIFTON’S ALMANAC FOR JANUARY 29TH:

AVERAGE HIGH: 37 AVERAGE LOW: 22

RECORD HIGH: 68 – 2002 RECORD LOW: -2 – 1977

YESTERDAY’S HIGH: 54 LOW: 30 PRECIPITATION: NONE

Today we will have considerable cloudiness but it will continue to be mild as a light southwesterly flow continues as high pressure is off the southeast coast. There is a slight chance of an afternoon shower but most areas will remain dry.

Another mild day on Monday ahead of a cold front that will cross the area in the afternoon.

Colder air will filter in for Tuesday through the beginning of the weekend but we should stay mainly dry as the storm track should keep any precipitation to our south. Saturday may be the coldest day since Christmas weekend, with lows in the low teens and highs only in the 20s.

The cold air will not be with us long as temperatures quickly moderate next Sunday with mild weather continuing much of next week.
