Our skies are partly cloudy on this Monday morning and temperatures are mild with early readings ranging from 40 in Clifton down to 29 at Walpack. Winds are from the north around 5-10 mph.

The low pressure that gave us some overnight light rain is moving further offshore as high pressure builds into our area. Today will be a mostly sunny day with mild temperatures mainly in the upper 50s.

A weak cold front will come through dry tonight followed by a brisk northwest flow for Tuesday, high temperatures will be a couple of degrees lower than today but remain well above normal. Wind gusts to 25 mph are possible.

Wednesday will start off cloudy but sunshine will return by the afternoon and temperatures will rise to the low 60s.

A strong frontal system will cause showers Thursday afternoon through the day on Friday. Temperatures will be very mild with highs in the 60s on Thursday with highs in the upper 50s Friday morning dropping to the 40s by sunset along with brisk winds.

The weekend will be dry with seasonably cold temperatures on Saturday but rising again to above normal levels on Sunday.

We should see an increase in clouds today as high pressure moves offshore and a storm system across the southeast states moves northeast. We will have a chance of very light rain later tonight into early Monday morning but most of the precipitation will stay to our south and east.

Mainly dry weather Monday through Wednesday as high pressure builds into the area, temperatures will again be mild with most highs in the 50s.

Very mild Thursday and Friday but with showers likely as a frontal system moves through the area. Highs both days will be in the low 60s.

Cooler on Saturday as temperatures move to near normal levels but at this time it looks like the mild weather will return on Sunday and continue much of next week as our mild and snowless winter continues.

High pressure building from the mid-west will give us a mostly sunny day with diminishing winds as the high moves closer to our area. Although temperatures will be cooler today it will still be 5-10 degrees above normal.

Sunday will be a partly sunny day with continued seasonably mild temperatures but a low pressure will be approaching from the southeast states. Most of the precipitation should remain to southeast but there is a 50% chance of rain with the rain more likely along coastal areas and less inland.

Dry and mild Monday through Wednesday with highs in the 50s.

Unseasonably mild Thursday into Friday with highs both days in the 60s. A strong frontal system approaching our area will give us a chance of showers on Thursday with showers more likely on Friday.

Low pressure is moving into the Great Lakes while a warm front is just to our south as a cold front approaches from the west. The cold front will cross the area this morning followed by a rather brisk westerly flow. Highs should be in the 50s.

Cooler weather for the weekend as high pressure builds into the area, highs both days will be in the upper 40s which is still nearly 10 degrees above normal.

A weak disturbance moving to our south will give us a chance of rain Monday morning that may be mixed with snow especially further inland.

Dry and mild weather can be expected for Tuesday and Wednesday.

Very mild on Thursday with highs rising to the 60s, a cold front may give us some showers in the afternoon and evening.

A storm system over the mid-Mississippi valley will move to the Great Lakes today and a warm front associated with the low will move to our north by this evening. We should see an increase in clouds with a low chance of light showers tonight. Temperatures will be in the 50s today and stay in the mild 50s tonight.

A cold front will cross the area on Friday with a brisk northwest flow, temperatures will continue to be in the 50s as the cooler air won’t arrive until Friday night.

Cooler over the weekend, Saturday should be dry but there is a chance of showers Sunday afternoon into early Monday morning as a weak frontal system moves through the area.

Mild much of next week and after a dry Monday and Tuesday another frontal system may give us some showers on Wednesday.
