Cloudy and mild today with a good chance of showers! Mostly cloudy but mainly dry and cooler on Friday! Cool with rain expected on Saturday! Clearing, breezy and milder on Sunday!

Skies are mostly cloudy early on this Thursday morning and there is some fog and or drizzle falling in parts of the area. Early temperatures are mild with readings ranging from 46 in Clifton down to 39 at Walpack. Winds are mainly calm.



RECORD HIGH: 77 – 2012 RECORD LOW: 16 – 2004


A frontal system will be moving into our area today which will give us a good chance of showers today and despite cloudy skies temperatures will be mild with highs in the 60s.

Friday should be a little cooler but should stay dry as the front will sag to our south, skies will remain mostly cloudy.

Saturday looks to be a washout with rain expected along with cool temperatures, rainfall amounts will be around 1/2 inch.

Clearing and milder on Sunday but it will be breezy as low pressure moves offshore and high pressure builds from the west.

Quite unsettled weather Monday through Wednesday with some rain chances especially Monday night into Tuesday but at this time the forecast is quite uncertain.

SUNDAY – MAR 26 – Sunny and milder, highs in the low 60s.

MONDAY – MAR 27 – Partly sunny, high in the mid 50s, chance of rain at night.

TUESDAY – MAR 28 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain, high in the low 50s.

WEDNESDAY – MAR 29 – Mostly sunny, high near 50.

MARINE FORECAST: A small craft advisory will be in effect from 10 a.m. this morning through 1 a.m. Friday morning for southwest winds gusting to 30 knots, seas 3-5 feet.

OUTLOOK: No advisories expected for Friday; advisories expected for Saturday; advisories possible during the day on Sunday; no advisories expected for Sunday night through Monday night.
