Skies are mostly clear early on this Friday morning and early temperatures range from 48 in Clifton down to 42 at Basking Ridge and Pequest. Winds are mainly calm.

A warm front will be to our south today and we will have a light onshore flow of seasonably mild air today along with mostly sunny skies. Highs here will be near 70 with shore areas struggling to reach 60 degrees while southwest sections of New Jersey will rise to the 80s. Some drizzle is possible late tonight as the humidity increases on the onshore flow.
Saturday will be mostly cloudy and continued seasonably mild but the frontal system will be moving into our area. Showers and thunderstorms are expected mainly from late afternoon through just after dawn on Sunday. Rainfall amounts will be around an inch. Southeast winds will increase by evening with gusts to 35 mph possible.
Sunday we should see some clearing as the front system moves offshore, however there is still a chance of a lingering shower during the day.
Mainly dry with seasonably cool temperatures next week as high pressure will be in control of our weather. There is no sign of any significantly warm weather for at least the next 2 weeks.
