A back door cold front will move to our south late Friday night and there will be a low chance of showers late at night into Saturday along with much cooler air.

High pressure off the Maine coast will give us a light onshore flow of cooler air today along with mostly sunny skies. Smoke from wildfires in Nova Scotia will move into our area this afternoon so the sky will not be as blue.

The high pressure will slowly move further offshore and we will have mostly sunny skies with less haze and smoke along with slightly milder temperatures.

Quite warm and continued dry Thursday and Friday, as a more west-southwest flow around high pressure offshore will cause high temperatures well up into the 80s on Thursday and near 90 on Friday.

A back door cold front will cross the area Friday night and the weekend will be cooler but we should stay mainly dry but there is a slight chance of showers on Saturday.
