Another sunny and seasonably mild day today! Dry and cooler Tuesday and Wednesday! Dry weather to persist through next weekend, quite warm Thursday and Friday, cooler next weekend!

Skies are partly cloudy early on this Monday morning and temperatures range from 58 in Clifton down to 46 at Walpack and Pequest. Winds are mainly calm.

Today will be a sunny day but a back door cold front will drop to our south this morning and a brisk easterly flow will develop this afternoon. Highs will be near 80 but cooler along the shore.

Dry and cool weather is expected Tuesday and Wednesday as high pressure builds from off the New England coast.

Quite warm but continued dry Thursday and Friday as winds become more from the west, highs should be in the mid 80s on Thursday and near 90 on Friday. A weak cold front will cross the area Friday night.

Next weekend looks to still be dry with seasonably mild temperatures.

TONIGHT – Mostly clear, low in the low 50s.

TUESDAY – MAY 30 – Sunny, highs in the low 70s.

WEDNESDAY – MAY 31 – Mostly sunny, highs in the upper 70s.

THURSDAY – JUNE 1 – Sunny, highs in the mid 80s.

FRIDAY – JUNE 2 – Sunny, highs near 90.

SATURDAY – JUNE 3 – Mostly sunny, highs in the upper 70s.

SUNDAY – JUNE 4 – Sunny, highs in the upper 70s.

MARINE FORECAST: A small craft advisory will be in effect from 2 p.m. this afternoon through 6 a.m. Tuesday morning for easterly winds gusting to 30 knots, seas 3-6 feet. Point Pleasant Beach’s ocean temperature is 59 degrees.

OUTLOOK: Advisories likely to continue on Tuesday; no advisories expected for Wednesday.
