Skies across the area are cloudy early in this Monday morning and temperatures range from 45 in Clifton down to 39 at High Point, winds are from the west around 10 mph.

After having one of the worst weekends with flooding rains the weather will slowly improve today as low pressure moves to Eastern Canada. The day will start off with some sunshine this morning but we should see more clouds this afternoon with a chance of showers.

An upper level low will be near our area this week causing continued cool temperatures along with mainly afternoon and evening showers.

Milder and dry weather over the weekend.

Next week will mild with most highs in the comfortable 70s.

TONIGHT – Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers, lows in the mid 40s.

WEDNESDAY – MAY 3 – Mostly cloudy with showers, highs in the mid 50s.

THURSDAY – MAY 4 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of afternoon showers, highs in the upper 50s.

FRIDAY – MAY 5 – Partly sunny with a chance of showers, highs near 60.

SATURDAY – MAY 6 – Mostly sunny, highs in the mid 60s.
