Skies are mostly cloudy early on this Monday morning and it is mild with temperatures ranging from 57 in Clifton down to 50 at High Point. Winds are mainly calm or light northerly.

The weak disturbance that gave us the cloudy skies with some sprinkles overnight is moving offshore while weak high pressure moves into our area. Skies will become sunny after the early cloudiness and it will be mild with highs well up into the 70s.

Another weak disturbance will give us a slight chance of showers on Tuesday and with the clouds and an onshore wind, temperatures will be cooler with most highs only in the low 60s.

An extended period of warm and dry conditions Wednesday through the weekend with only a low chance of showers on Mother’s Day.
