Skies are cloudy early on this Thursday morning and there are some light showers falling over parts of the area. Temperatures range from 61 in Clifton down to 53 at High Point. Winds are a little gusty out of the east-northeast. Air quality is good with an index of 25.

High pressure moving off the New England coast and low pressure to our south will give us a cool onshore flow of air. Scattered mainly light showers are likely. Temperatures will not rise much with highs mainly in the upper 60s.
A warm front will move to our north on Friday with a southerly flow of warmer and much more humid air. Showers are likely with possible thunderstorms, some rain may be heavy at times.
The weekend will continue to be warm and humid with showers likely, with again some thunderstorms and heavy rain possible.
Unsettled weather to continue through the middle of next week with showers likely each day along with possible thunderstorms. High temperatures will be near normal but the humidity will remain high with dew points near the 70 degree mark.
