Skies are partly cloudy early on this Tuesday morning and there is patchy fog in some areas. Temperatures range from 71 in Clifton down to 63 at Wantage. Winds are mainly calm. The air quality is moderate with an index of 98.

A weak front will be in our area today with a southerly flow of quite warm and humid air. Once again it will be hazy especially in the morning, due to the Canadian wildfires. There is a good chance of mainly afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms with possible heavy downpours.

Weak high pressure will then build into our area on Wednesday, it will continue to be warm but a little less humid than today. There will only be a low chance of an afternoon and evening shower or thunderstorm.

A slow moving front will give us a good chance of showers and thunderstorms on Thursday with showers and thunderstorms more likely on Friday.

Quite pleasant weather is likely for the weekend with seasonably warm temperatures and lower humidity as the very hot weather will continue over the Southwest states.
