Skies are mostly cloudy early on this Tuesday morning and temperatures range from 68 in Clifton down to 60 at High Point. The humidity has dropped with dew points only in the low 50s. Winds are light from the north. The air quality is moderate with an index of 70.

A cold front has moved to our south and we will have a northerly flow of cooler and drier air today. Skies should become mostly sunny as high pressure builds from the Great Lakes.

Wednesday the high pressure will be over us and we will have another pleasant day with plenty of sunshine along with comfortable temperatures and humidity.

A frontal system will give us a chance of showers Thursday and Friday along with an increase in humidity. Showers are most likely on Thursday night.

Very pleasant weather is expected for the last weekend in August with plenty of sunshine both days along with seasonably cool temperatures and low humidity.
