Today’s weather will be quite similar to yesterday with warm temperatures, comfortable humidity and plenty of sunshine as a weak high pressure moves through the area.

A frontal system will give us showers and thunderstorms Monday into Tuesday, it will be humid with mostly cloudy skies both days. Some of the rain may be heavy at times.

The front will move to our northeast on Wednesday and high pressure will build into our area. It will be less humid but quite warm with mostly sunny skies, however it will be rather breezy.

Yesterday we didn’t have any showers as most of the activity stayed to our north and west.

July’s average temperature was 78.0 degrees making this the 8th warmest July since 1973. The highest temperature was 94 degrees set on the 5th with the lowest temperatures recorded was 61 degrees on the 31st. Precipitation was near normal with 4.33″, however many places around the area had much more rainfall especially over the Hudson Valley.
