Skies are again cloudy and there may be some light drizzle mixed with snow in parts of the area. Temperatures range from 36 in Clifton down to 30 at High Point Winds are mainly from the north averaging 5-10 mph. The air quality is good with an index of 20.

The low pressure that gave us the rain yesterday is moving off the New England coast and the light rain and or drizzle should end before daybreak. Today will be a breezy day with still more clouds than sunshine. Temperatures will be slightly above normal.

High pressure will give us dry conditions Tuesday through Thursday; Tuesday and Wednesday will be seasonably cold but it should be milder on Thursday.

A weak cold front may touch off a shower on Friday, followed by clearing and seasonably cold weather for the weekend.

TONIGHT – Mostly cloudy in the evening then becoming partly cloudy, lows in the upper 20s.

TUESDAY – JAN 30 – Partly sunny in the morning then mostly cloudy in the afternoon, highs in the upper 30s.

WEDNESDAY – JAN 31 – Mostly cloudy, highs near 40.

THURSDAY – FEB 1 – Partly sunny in the morning then mostly cloudy, highs in the upper 40s.

FRIDAY – FEB 2 – Partly sunny with a chance of a morning shower, highs in the mid 40s.

SATURDAY – FEB 3 – Mostly sunny, highs in the upper 30s.

SUNDAY – FEB 4 – Sunny, highs in the mid 30s.

MARINE FORECAST: A small craft advisory is in effect until 6 p.m. Tuesday evening for northerly winds gusting to 25 knots, seas 4-7 feet.

OUTLOOK: Possible advisories for Wednesday; no advisories expected for Thursday; advisories again possible for Friday.
