Skies are mainly clear early on this Tuesday morning and temperatures range from 48 in Clifton down to 37 at Walpack. Winds are calm or light northwesterly. The air quality is good with an index of 32.

A weak cold front came through overnight and today will be cooler but with still above normal temperatures with highs near 70 as high pressure builds from the Great Lakes.

A frontal system approaching from the west will give us cooler weather on Wednesday with showers likely developing by late in the afternoon and continuing into Thursday afternoon.

Friday will be dry but cloudy and cool and another frontal system may touch off more showers Friday night into Saturday.

At this point Sunday and Monday look dry with near seasonable temperatures.

TONIGHT – Mostly clear, lows in the mid 40s.

WEDNESDAY – APRIL 17 – Increasing cloudiness with showers likely mainly after 5 p.m., highs near 60.

THURSDAY – APRIL 18 – Cloudy with showers likely mainly before 2 p.m., quite cool with highs only in the low 50s.

FRIDAY – APRIL 19 – Cloudy, highs in the upper 50s, chance of showers at night.

SATURDAY – APRIL 20 – Partly sunny with a chance of showers mainly before 2 p.m., highs in the mid 60s.

SUNDAY – APRIL 21 – Partly sunny, highs in the low 60s.

MONDAY – APRIL 22 – Mostly sunny, highs in the low 60s.
