Skies are cloudy and there is fog in most of the area. Temperatures are mainly in the low 50s across the region with high humidity. Winds are light from the south. The air quality is good with an index of 40.

A warm front will move through the area this morning and we will have clearing skies after the early morning clouds and fog. Temperatures will reach into the 80s. A cold front will come through tonight with no precipitation but a northwest flow of cooler and drier air will follow the front.

Friday will be considerably cooler with highs only in the 60s with an onshore flow of air.

Still cool over the weekend, Saturday should be dry and partly sunny but a low pressure system will likely give us rain on Sunday.

Warmer through at least the middle of next week with highs each day in the 70s with only a low chance of scattered showers Tuesday night into Wednesday.

CLIFTON’S CLIMATE SUMMARY FOR APRIL 2024 RECORDS STARTED IN 1973.

This April the temperature averaged 52.8 degrees which was 1.5 degrees above normal. The highest temperature was 85 set on the 29th and the lowest temperature was 34 recorded on the 4th. Precipitation was near normal with 4.50″ most of the rainfall fell in the first half of the month. The month had no snowfall.
