Skies are mostly cloudy early on this Wednesday morning and temperatures are very mild with readings ranging from 64 in Clifton down to 56 at Walpack, Sandyston and Hackettstown. Winds are calm of light southwesterly. The air quality is moderate with an index of 56.

A warm front will move to our north and east this morning possibly accompanied by a shower, followed by clearing by this afternoon and it will become very warm with highs well up into the 80s. The humidity will be on the high side also with dew points in the 60s. A cold front will cross the area this evening but should come through dry and the humidity will be lower.

Cooler on Thursday and especially on Friday when highs should only be in the 50s. A disturbance along the front to our south will likely give us showers Thursday afternoon through Friday.

The weekend’s weather continues to be cool and another disturbance may touch off some showers Saturday night through the day on Sunday.

High pressure will then give us milder and dry weather early next week.
