Skies are mostly clear early on this Tuesday morning but there is some patchy fog in most of our area. Temperatures are again mild with readings ranging from 66 in Clifton down to 57 at Sandyston. Winds are mainly calm. The air quality is moderate with an index of 58.

The low pressure system that gave us some showers yesterday has moved offshore and weak high pressure will move into our area providing us with plenty of sunshine along with warm temperatures. Dew points will drop from the 60s to the more comfortable 50s by this afternoon.

A weak frontal system will give us a chance of showers Wednesday afternoon through Thursday morning; with more clouds high temperatures will be slightly lower than today.

Strong high pressure will move into the area Thursday afternoon and should dominate our weather Friday through early next week. Temperatures will be seasonably cool on Friday then warm up for the weekend with most highs both days in the lower 80s.

TONIGHT – Mostly clear, lows near 60.

WEDNESDAY – MAY 29 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2 p.m., highs in the upper 70s.

THURSDAY – MAY 30 – Partly sunny with a chance of mainly morning showers, highs in the low 70s.

FRIDAY – MAY 31 – Mostly sunny, highs in the mid 70s.

SATURDAY – JUNE 1 – Sunny, highs in the low 80s.

SUNDAY – JUNE 2 – Partly sunny, highs in the low 80s.

MONDAY – JUNE 3 – Mostly sunny, highs in the low 80s.
