Skies are mainly cloudy early on this Thursday morning and showers and some thunderstorms are moving through our area. Temperatures are mild with readings ranging from 68 in Clifton down to 65 at High Point. Winds are light from the southeast. Air quality is moderate with an index of 58.

A warm front moving through the area this morning is causing showers and thunderstorms. The rain should end by 6 a.m. and we should stay dry until this afternoon when a cold front should cause more showers and thunderstorms which should end by this evening. It will be very humid with dew points near or just about 70 degrees.
High pressure will then build into the area on Friday providing our area with plenty of sunshine, warm temperatures and much lower humidity with dew points falling into the 50s.
Seasonably mild weather for the weekend with moderate humidity. Saturday should be dry, but there will be a chance of afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms on Sunday as an upper level low will be in our area.
Still a chance of afternoon and evening showers on Monday and Tuesday followed by dry weather for Wednesday, temperatures will be seasonably warm.
